2nd Annual ...
The Food Bank of WNY's mission is to obtain food and support from public and private sources and efficiently redistribute these resources to affiliated charitable providers such as soup kitchens, pantries and shelters. Thanks to YOU (and Mother Nature), the 2002 event was a gigantic success and everyone had a GREAT time!! We raised 7 huge barrels of food donations weighing in at 963 pounds AND raised $309 from 50/50 and raffle ticket sales!

Mark your calendar, save the date, get the day off work if
you have to. Bike Run/Cruise: check-in
at noon, run leaves at 1:00 from "Spider Grove" 1822 Davis Road, West
Falls, NY. Phone: 716-687-1852 (just 2 miles outside of
Orchard Park) It's a short 19 mile run to the Lakeview.
Benefit Party: 2:00-7:00

Admission Fee?: Admission to the Run/Cruise and the Benefit Party is FREE to anyone who brings at least two "non-perishable food" item donations (box, can, bag, etc.). Admission includes live music by everyone's favorite biker band, The Bar King Spiders, and a tasty food buffet provided by the Lakeview Landmark Restaurant & Banquet Facility. There will also be a "cash bar" available. Dance and frolic to the Portable Sound System Entertainment by Mark "Rainman" Ferguson with "Your Choice Music".
"No Frills Bike
Show": No judging or trophies... just a few select bikes on display for everyone
to drool over inside the comfort of the Lakeview Landmark. Space is
limited! Show your pride & joy! For insurance reasons, bikes
inside the facility must have their gas tanks drained. If you are
interested call Dave O at 716-649-0797 before Friday the 26th.
